Any plans of studying or further learning?

Now that im in serious job-hunting mode, i have noticed that if i have an acca or its equivalent, i will be paid better. So getting that and looking for work will be the next steps.

When my wife came over and before she got a job she used to write up essays of places we had visited the previous weekend or do write ups about UK news.
It helped improve her English and also starts building conversational knowledge.

Hahaha was only here for 4 days but I've not been out. When I was here last year (spring and summer) I tend to go out almost everyday but the weather is such a hindrance at this time of year. And fiance is out all day so yeah, I'm quite bored. :D

Main reason I could never live there, the weather just limits what you can do for so much of the time.

Well............ The gurls are landing tomorrow............ I will give them a fair chance to get over the jet-lag, and check out what they want to do.

Jealous..I've no time for boredom here because of my toddler, wedding prep, house chores, phone games and Netflix. Hehe

Good to see you're a busy bee young lady :)

I do feel for all of you who are new here in the UK, particularly in winter as it is difficult with the dark short daylight of November, December, January, to adjust, next month things will improve but then the wind will start which makes being outside hard work again.

Ana always found it difficult here, you need to find some Filipino friends locally, if you can, that helps, you can chat and get insight from those that have been here a while, I know it helped Ana a lot when she met a couple of Filipino ladies here. British friends might take longer but you never know.

UK culture is very different and you don't have the hustle and bustle of a large family and group of friends here, it takes time but gradually you will build that community that you need, in the meantime it is not easy, I really hope you all find a good path.

Spring and Summer are coming and it does get more pleasant then :)

hi guys. just a suggestion to keep you busy, maybe you can try studying about stock trading. that's what i'm planning to do when i go there this may. you can do it online and you can really earn a lot.

for starters, you can watch these vids so you'll have an idea how the stock market works. :)

Disclaimer: The videos are in Tagalog. Sorry, cant find any videos with English subtitle.

See Brom I said before you departed the dear Philippines that you would love the colder weather :D Fear not, won't be that long before it gets a bit warmer.
