as a follow up to @Brom27 's recent hilarious line " calm your tits "----can i ask our Filipinas--do you think the words "tits" is vulgar--rude--crude--offensive etc---or just a normal every day word ? ive known some English women really kick off at the word--i dont know why--? i hate the word "boobs"--i think it it ridicules something beautiful.
My female friends in the Philippines don't mind me calling it tits. They even thought it's posh and better than saying "boobs" lol.
Boobs you can use in front of anyone in the UK, tits you have to be more careful with as it is regarded as a rude word.
In my experience UK females don't like the T word at all - regarding it as crude and offensive. Your loved-one may have tolerated its utterance when passions were running high (much in the same way that - bizarrely - the Good Lord Above (I'm atheist btw!) often gets invoked at the end of love making!) A generation ago "boobs" was not common currency so the gender-neutral "chest" was used when men and women conversed in a non-sexual manner. Boobs is used much more freely now of course. I only have Kris and her friends to go by in terms of my Filipina experience and none of them seem particularly offended by the T word - but perhaps that's down to their interaction with horny foreigners! Lol. In addition to superb English, my love speaks Tagalog, Bisaya and another Filipino regional language - so I'm naturally learning lots of new naughty words!
So some on Scotschap lets know the Tagalog, Bisaya word for Tits........., purely as part of the research for this thread of course...!!!
How can they comment if Scotschap doesn't tell them what Tits is in their own language.....My wife thinks I am referring to her her teeth when I talk about tits (teeths), until I explained the difference that is.
Good fishing expedition David!!! I'm sure some of the longer-standing members can provide you and your good lady with the sought after info!
