Call charges for calling UK Visas and immigration

My friend just called the helpline and now they are charging £1.37/minute to speak to someone on the phone.... That was a shocker...

Yea, he has just logged back in after loosing his password.... Its a shocker though... It was free when I called then last November.... Its all money money money for them....

I called them just a few weeks ago and it was free. Just part of the new charges I guess.

Its money well spent if the applicant has a complicated question to ask but wasted money if it is a simple question that can answered here on the forum or another immigration related forum.

Yea, that's a fair comment! Most are answered here correctly. This is the best and most informative forum I have ever know..
