Hi everyone! Has anyone here have an experience of applying a Schengen visa for Spain after getting their UK fiancee visa while still in the Philippines? I need to know if someone here or knows someone who had already done it before. Or is it possible to apply a Schengen visa in UK whilst staying on a Fiancee visa? My boyfriend really wants me to join him to go to Spain to visit his dad. My boyfriend would sponsor the trip to Spain. Our plan is to get a UK Fiancee visa-Schengen visa (after successfully getting the UK Fiancee visa)-Go to Spain first to visit his dad-Then go to UK on a Fiancee visa. It's just that we also need to tell his dad personally about our incoming marriage. I would appreciate any help regarding our plan. Thank you!
It's very much okay to apply for a Schengen Visa nothing will stop you. Having a UK visa might help in some senses coz they can be sure that you won't overstay and you will definitely leave after your visit. Had you been married already you could get the Schengen visa free and fast track but you should be able to get it easily, in my opinion.
I'm just scared that they might reject my application as I won't be going back to Philippines but I'll go to UK instead after my visit to Spain. Also, I just resigned from my job because I would be processing my UK fiancee visa soon. My boyfriend doesn't want to wait until we're married before we could go to Spain as he misses his dad already and wants to inform him personally about our plans.
