Has anyone flown Kuwait airlines to the PH. If so How would you rate the airline?

Been 5 yrs ago so it might not be updated.

Food wasnt so good (very arabic orientated). Dont remember seeing any alcohol, plane was older than emirates or etihad or qatar. But it was clean and affordable.

Im not sure if you want to connect via kuwait. Can you not choose other airline (is the price diff that much vs those three)?

Sorry you asked about rating: would be on the bottom of the list with gulf air and cebu pacific. Nothing beats emirates for me (probably singapore is close second). Etihad, qatar, cathay, BA i can interchange. Pal i can tolerate since its direct, wouldnt fly with gulf air or kuwait again (might change if they try to compete with the rest of the gulf carriers).

Really just looking at options. To fly from London some of the prices are quite high compared to other airlines. Usually fly phil air but they seem to have a bit of a price hike. Maybe because I'm booking later than I usually would.
Emirates, Qatar and etihad have quite long connection times. So just looking at different options.

My mum and sister travelled couple of months ago with Kuwait Airlines. She said it wasn't that bad. A good experience for a first time traveller.
Guess it is cheaper than the other airlines so why not?

I usually fly with Emirates (sometimes also Etihad or Qatar).

    Top class airlines, all three.

I paid less than 400 pounds return for my last trip March/April this year, with Emirates. Looks like the cheapest I can get for September is around 500 pounds though.

I get prices on Skyscanner and Kayak first, then go direct to the airline site to book and pay... even if they're a few quid more than the travel agents.

Google for reviews on Kuwaiti, if you want a wide range of opinions.

Been looking on skyscanner at prices. I read reviews on Kuwait airlines and will give them a miss :). Think it will be emirates, Qatar or gulf air although not checked reviews on gulf air yet.

Just checked Kayak, gave me same price as booking direct with Emirates.

    Yes, they probably will.

I just prefer to trust my credit card and booking to the actual carrier. ;)

My husband recently flew from London to Manila via Kuwait Airways he said it was fine, from London to Kuwait, good service, food was fine and good entertainment, even though movie selection was limited compared to other airlines. The connecting flight from Kuwait to Manila was not as good, older plane, worn seats and a tiny TV screen in the economy part.

Overall he gave it 6/10 for this reason but you get what you pay for of course.

Always book directly with carrier myself, especially after the fiasco I faced buying tickets through an online agent for my family flying to Seychelles last year.

Got to say I've had no issues with agents but next time will look also at carriers but whoever gives the best deal gets my number.

Mixed reviews especially when looking at customer reviews. Good to hear he enjoyed the flight though.
