got refused visa for my fiance because i did not provide enough financial details but i do because i earn more than the 18k salary. is it better to appeal or new application. thanks.
oh no--you must be devastated. would you be willing to scan the refusal letter and post on here--omitting any personal details ? it would be helpful to read the exact wording. an appeal can take a year or more. but anyway new applications are taking at least 3 months now.
I know that it was my mistake for not providing a letter from employment that states the yearly required amount, and there was a messed up with my bank statements.. so idk if i should just re apply.
yes--it appears you didnt submit the most recent 6 months bank statements. i dont think you have grounds to appeal--so a fresh application is required.

They also say that you didn't supply Bank Statements matching the six months payslips - What they want to see, for example, is Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun payslips and the corresponding Bank Statements for Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun showing the net salary paid in to your bank that they can then match up to the Payslips. What's also not clear to me, from either you or their letter, is whether you are able to rely on six months evidence or you need to supply 12 months evidence - Are you sure how many months evidence you need to supply? If you don't know or aren't sure how many months evidence you need to supply it's best to ask someone (knowledgeable) so as you don't get it wrong again. What other applicants do is list out the evidence they are submitting on here and ask whether they've got it right before they send it off...
Thank you. I think you are right, I wasn't sure that the bank statements has to match the payslips which wasn't provided. I provided a p60 which wasn't enough to show the annual salary required as i have only been with my employment for 6 months at the times my p60 was given, but i have been with them for over a year and I meet the financial requirements. Well, maybe it's best to make a new application and make things right. I guess, my financial documents that was given wasn't really sufficient. We met everything else, except the financial requirements due to lack of evidence. I guess I need 12 months bank statements with 12 months payslip that corresponds with the bank statements and also a letter from the employment stating the annual salary (which I missed out) ?? am I missing something else?
one more requestion, does the financial refusal and refusal partner rules the same?! D-ECP 1.3 and EC-P 1.1 (a -d) i am confused so was the refusal based on just the finacial only?
Can somebody help me with this. I have p60 from sept 2016 - april 2017 showing 11k a 12 months payslip showing 18k+ (p60 less than 18k) an employment letter stating the annual salary i would receive by april 2018 which is 20k and in what category do I use A or B? Is there any better way to organise my financial documents..I meet the requirements anual salary just dont know how i can show this to immigration for next application.
The whole situation has got worse due to understaffing ay UKVI! See my post regarding a lead story in today's Guardian.
Hmm..not sure if you still need my opinion, my list as follow.. I am a sponsor too. In our application, I didn’t include my P60, bcoz it was from prev employment which i didnt met the financial requirements. I started a new job May 2017 with anual salary of 22k+. Application finalised Jan 2018 with 6 months payslip (july,aug,sept,oct,nov,dec’17) & bank statement that match to my monthly payslip. Then, as back-up, a letter from employer stating my position, start date and annual salary and u must also include if you are in permanent/fix position & if u r part-time/full time job. Signed by your HR. In my work, i have also an employee contract letter dated May’17 stating my annual salary which was photo copied & attach to my back-up list. I used Category A, because I met the 6 months rules. Hope this helps.. Goodluck to all!
When I applied for my visa, my hubby just gave me an employment letter confirming that he's employed in that company, his start date and his permanent status. But we did submit 2 P60 (2015 and 2016), 6 months bank statements, 6 months payslips. And they accepted it. I think your refusal was because of your bank statements. They needed to see the bank statements (should coincide with your payslips) since in your letter, no salary was indicated.
