Hi iHeartJa, the truth is, very very few men will go to the Philippines to meet just one girl .If you have been chatting for a while and have a really strong feeling for each other , and emotional commitment , then you have a good chance . Many men will chat to lots of girls online , get phone numbers and promise to meet them . That way , if the first one doesn’t work out , they have options . Good luck with your next time of trying ,and remember not everyone is 100% truthful online .
Hi OTT! Thank you very, I will remember everything you guys advised me. I just have a question, off topic. I may try on my own next time because I want to join some friends who are planning to go to the UK this year. The ECO said I do not have evidence that I have a property or assets in the Phils. When in fact, I attached a copy of the title of the property together with the Property Tax receipt. This property is on mortgage status but already been transfered to my name and I'm paying for years now. What shall I do next time? Shall I include the bank documents supporting the property I'm paying? Thank you in advance for those who will answer.
Facebook is a great way to open yourself up and anyone who cannot has something to hide, possibly. Certainly if you want to date then you should. Top tip, look at their friends and look at their friends' friends. See if you find another FB account. I would also say that 1 in 10 filipinos live outside of the country and its possibel to meet and get to know someone there. Mica is in the Cayman and there are plenty of hardworking phil people who would be open to the idea of meeting a brit. Certainly reduces the chance of scamming.
Hi iHeartJa, the immigration seem to be quite good at ignoring what you present in your application . One reason for our refusal was having no dependants in Phils, despite my gf stating that she has a five year old son there living with her . In answer to your question , yes I would submit any paperwork that you have relating to your property and assets there . Present as much evidence as possible . Good luck .
