just wondering if I’ve filled this out incorrectly as it asks my wife to bring supporting documents such as her payslips and letter of employment.

I applied recently. I submitted all payslips, bank statements, employment contract and leave letter from work but when I submitted my documents the lady in TLS said it is not needed as I am applying as spouse of an EU citizen so it is not a requirement but since I prepared for all of it I just submitted it anyway.

Thanks Brom, did you have to pay around £26 for the TLS service fee?

whilst filling the form out online, whilst it accepted me being an EU citizen, uk or England wasnot in the drop down list so I couldn’t select a country and right now the form is blank. Should I fill this in pen?

also, the form is not clear as to where I sign or where my wife signs. Can anyone help with this?

And 1 last thing, is it just my wife that needs to attend the appointment or do I need to attend too?

I paid around £40 all in all including the service fee and the payment for using courier service for sending my passport back.

That was my problem as well as UK wasn't in the option so I left it like that. Just fill the form as it is. I had to fill in the new form when I was in the TLS so don't worry about that.

Only your wife will sign the application. Look at the guide it tells you where to sign. You will not be allowed in the centre only your wife can enter but there is a cafe just outside the building so you can wait in there.

I also suggest you get an appointment for 9 am as it gets busy later in the day. My appointment was 9:30 and I was finish by about 10:50.

Yeh it’s a bit strange for the not to have the UK, I thought I was going mad.

Ok, I would actually prefer not to have to take time off to go to the appointment. So if I’m not needed then I’ll just stay at work :p

Lol trust me I was mad when I couldn't find the UK. We're not out of the EU yet but UK was removed from that list already  Made phone calls and endless research after that. :frust:

Just make sure she brings your passport and marriage certificate. Plus photocopy everything. The lady who processed my documents was so pleased with how organised and prepared I was. It will hold them up if they have to photocopy your docs and then have you fill another application. Just a tip :like:

    My passport (British)
