Hi Peeps, I just wrote this letter for my employer to copy and paste and sign on a Letter- head paper, I was wondering if I missed anything out or if it was confusing as I just recently got promoted and started receiving a increase in salary...any advice or thought would be welcome To: The Entry Clearance office Re: Employment Confirmation for Settlement Application Visa Dear Sir/Madam, This is confirm that Mr. Richard *****, Employee number ****** is an employee of John Lewis Partnership -******, ***** Branch and his current position within the company is Team Leader of the stock replenishment - Nights. Mr ****** has been with ****** since 27th August 2017. This is a full-time position on a permanent basis , his contracted hours are 37.32 hours per week. Mr ****** starting salary from the period of September 2017 to February 2018 was £18,904.08 per gross annum receiving a contractual pay of £1575.34 per calendar month excluding Overtime and Bonuses. From March 2018 Mr. ****** has been promoted to Team Leader leading to an increase in gross salary of £20,927.25 per annum excluding overtime and bonuses, receiving a contractual pay of £1743.94 per calendar month
That’s looks just about fine but I wouldn’t put net pay just leave the gross amounts in as your manager is not the pay officer, and less figures means less chance of confusion.
Looks good but maybe over complicated just stick to the yearly figures without the monthly splits! Also add " we see no foreseeable eason why Mr? Employment will not continue in the future
So you are suggesting that I just leave out what I receive per month, and just give an end yearly gross figure like this? Mr ****** has been with ****** since 27th August 2017. This is a full-time position on a permanent basis , his contracted hours are 37.32 hours per week. Mr ****** starting salary from the period of September 2017 to February 2018 was £18,904.08 per gross annum excluding Overtime and Bonuses. From March 2018 Mr. ****** has been promoted to Team Leader leading to an increase in gross salary of £20,927.25 per annum excluding overtime and bonuses.
yes guys I think you are right..It simplifies it..thanks ..just thought i clear it with you guys before i email HR for the request..I would of thought it has to be within the 28 days window same as the payslips and bankstatements..Im gonna make preliminary enquiries with HR to see if they can put in on a letterheaded paper, and if there is any problem with my request
ok not time restricted , I plan to apply in the few months so I will either ask them to predate it or request nearer to the time..It all depends on when I my apartment and and get the evidence for that.thanks again
“leading to an increase in gross salary of £20,927.25 per annum” should really read : “leading to an increase in gross salary to £20,927.25 per annum” Or did you get a 20 grand a year pay rise, Charlie? Just a minor point but every little helps (sorry that’s Tesco).
