As a EU citizen you need no papers to enter and live in the UK whilst Britain remains a member of the EU. Your rights will be maintained and you will be able to continue living here afterwards but you may need to register. I suggest you bookmark this government site and revisit it early next year.

Why would you even want to move from Sweden to England?

    Hahahaha...

    Kidding.

Maybe because Sweden has imported more 'permanent visitors' from parts of the world than us....

Did you mean Bournemouth? It’s nice down in the south of England.

Sweden is a nice country. I spent a year there. I guess it is like the UK, it depends whereabouts you live there. I was up near a town called Mora in Central Sweden / Dalarna. And you are guaranteed snow there every year. :D

Life is all about new adventures. Bournmouth is a lovely place as well though seaside places can get quiet in the winter. If that is where you heart is though I am sure you will be fine.

Hi Mutya , welcome to the forum and good luck with your move to the UK and your new relationship,
Look forward to any updates you care to share .

You wonder if you are making a mistake , but that is something you won't know until you have tried it I think.

Hopefully the weather will still be nice when you arrive .

Well it is a big step to take , so I'm sure you will give it plenty of thought before deciding whether you are confident enough to take it .

Not wishing to pry , but I assume that you have spent quite a lot of time together already.
I understand your not wanting to wait too long , but better to be as sure as possible , rather than regret a too fast decision .

Good luck with whatever you decide .

No , absolutely there are no guarantees with any relationship, but the longer or better you know someone , the more confident you will be about whether it could be a good long term relationship .

Sorry can't advise about Filipinos in Bournemouth , how about looking on Facebook ?

Firstly good luck if you decide to move here, Then a little bit about Bournemouth, yes there are Filipinos down in Bournemouth mostly in the Care sector, Bournemouth also has a large population on foreign nationals mostly due the Language schools down there, Its a lovely place to live even if its a little bit expensive, lots of Parks, Beaches, and the Gardens area is a lovely place to relax, they are very fashionable down there probably due to the mixed cultures, easy to get up into London if you want Train or Coach.

Why dont you come over for a visit for a few months see if you like everything over here, then if you dont you can always go back to Sweden, that is what i would be doing, a visit during the summer months Im sure would be lovely for you. This is what i have done when visiting my partners family over in the Philippines.

It depends on the situation, If the house is all paid for, and your name is on the deeds then thats okay, if a mortgage is involved then if the mortgage payments fall behind then both of you are liable, but if as you say he paid cash then he is being very fair, as for not being married after you have been together for a number of years then you have almost the same rights as a married woman.
So to summarise, if the house is paid for you have no worries, hopefully this will allay your fears.

If your boyfriend has indeed paid for the house in cash , plus put your name on the paperwork , that is a big commitment by him for your future and security .

In fairness to him in return , you really need to be confident in the future success of your relationship . He must be , to have taken the steps he has .

If you are worried ( understandably) about things moving faster than you are comfortable with , maybe you can try staying here with him ,for a longer while perhaps , if your present circumstances will allow you to do that .
