We just came back from Majorca/Mallorca, Spain 3 weeks ago and we have had a fab time. The in-laws booked a week long holiday through Thomas Cook for us to enjoy and experience our 1st trip abroad as a family. Our 2 year old did really well the whole time. The hotel we stayed in was adequate and the service and staff were excellent. It is called Sol Alcudia Aparthotel. 500 yards from the sea, has it's own pool and loads of activities for families especially children. We smashed Quiz Night too! There are hotels around that are for adults only and enough for families too. Would love to go back in the island. The time we spent there was just lovely!
I visited Majorca several times many years ago . My memories for two holidays there, consist of it raining every day for a week in Alcudia , and the best Spanish Omlette I have ever tasted , in Santa Ponsa . Spain was a great inexpensive holiday destination then .
Elsa and I are in Santa Ponsa now, it’s been a warm day, no rain and a pleasant 25 Celsius. Alcudia tends to more windier and colder than the south coast.
