Please correct me if I am wrong, but if she leaves the UK for long enough wont the 5 year residency requirement be reset and they have to start over from scratch. Also I think if you using savings for the ILR you only need to show funds for 1 year, not the 2.5 years needed for a FLR extension.
you need to show savings over the last 6 months if you use savings as whole or part of the sponsorship financial requirement for FLR. not 2.5 years
It says "as", not "or". It means if you are the victim of domestic violence, and the person who inflicted the violence is a British citizen and is either your partner or spouse. I assume this does not apply in your case. You need to get B1 English and the Life in the UK Test done.
