Actually Max, I have a number of gadgets in my home including a TV remote, a washing machine, a telephone answerer and a cooker. One thing they all have in common is the brand name: Asawa. :D

To report back Jim. The App isn’t immediately available in the Apple App Store. Changing region resolves that. It seems that is common practice here to change region. Asawas brother set up his own account then, obviously no music available that way. Asawa then added him as family on her account but Alexa failed to play songs normally available on the account. He will log in later with her account and try. We are having a bday party and karaoke is ruling at the moment.

    Thanks for that Paul.

How well does Alexa cope with the Filipino English accent?

It seems to work though not thoroughly tested as of yet :) The Alexa voice uses an American accent here, not that surprising I suppose. My own Dot was struggling to reset once and I knew it wasn’t right as it had also defaulted to the American accent.

BBC BIAS under REVIEW as Ofcom regulator concerned over impartiality
THE BBC is being kept under scrutiny by British regulatory authority Ofcom following bias claims over Brexit and fears some of its current affairs programmes don’t “reflect in-depth investigative journalism”.
The “depth” and impartiality of the news programmes of the publicly-funded British broadcast is under review. The Ofcom probe was launched yesterday after being announced in late 2018. The regulator is looking into whether the broadcast remains a “trusted destination for audiences” even as the national debate become more and more polarised with Brexit.

I'm sorry but I shouldn't laugh, an article in the Express talking about bias at the BBC. The irony, I tell ya.

I first saw the story on a local Brexit UK unity site..
I didn't post it from there as some wet Liberal types would say it was B.S from a far right rag...
All these stories are repeated and rehashed by MSM in one way or another to suit their own particular agenda.
Which ever side we are on,it`s getting tougher and tougher to find the real truth.

Wonder why the BBC hasn`t sacked Joe Brand for her Un-PC joke about Farage and acid attacks?

Jo Brand investigated by Met Police over 'battery acid' politicians joke
Jo Brand is being investigated by police over an allegation of incitement to violence after she joked about throwing battery acid over politicians.

The Metropolitan Police said they had received a complaint about the BBC Radio 4 comedy programme in which Brand made her comments.

It came as Theresa May asked the BBC to explain why it had approved the joke for broadcast, suggesting that it “normalised” violence against politicians.
