I remember the catch phrase "should've gone to Radio Rentals" but not the advert.

I was foolish enough to use them in 1999 to get what at the time was a nice modern CRT, I had just bought a house and after furnishing it was left a bit short so I didn't want to lay out £1500 or more on a TV so I rented, but it was a stupid move as it always costs you a fortune that way.

I was in Curry's PC World yesterday and it is fascinating to see what the mainstream is now, 55 inch sets for less than £1000 indeed the 55 inch 4K things seem to be the standard now, in the special Samsung area they had 65 inch and 75 inch QLED screens and by god they are amazing but the price is still between £2500 and £4000, if I had a house large enough I would consider it one day but as I live in a shoe cupboard at the moment so it's not going to happen :)
