    Getting a heavy rain here about once twice a week now.. My bowling lawn and grass tennis court are definitely making a comeback..

    Periods of heavy rain daily in Pangasinan now. Knew we should have started the extension to the house earlier. :rolleyes:

    We just finished tearing off and replacing our 12 year old nipa roof off just in time!
    Tin roof this time though so I might need a few new A/C`s to compensate.

    If you have loft space, I'd suggest you pile (Hessian) sacks of rice hulls three high for the entire area, ensuring that there is free air-flow across the top of them. Rice hulls make good insulation and are relatively inert - they don't spontaneously combust and are actually quite difficult to set alight.
