This came to my attention just a week ago. Has this been posted on already? https://www.bighospitality.co.uk/Ar...set-to-open-second-UK-restaurant-in-Liverpool
The picture is from the London one I think, no one has mentioned this here, you can bet that the prices won't be as cheap as the Philippines not with UK wages. I might give it a try to see how it compares but honestly last time I was in a Jollibee I had the smallest thing I could get just so the kids could get what they wanted. Have you found any dates as to when they propose to open this in Liverpool?
By all accounts it's planning permission is for the former Lush store in L1. Pretty sure we will visit!
It may well be so in most people's perceptions of the place, but I never felt at ease every time I had the misfortune to visit. Even a couple of weeks ago, when I visited the Italian Consulate in Water Street I felt really akward, it is strange I know, but it is not something I ever experienced in other large cities, Manchester of Newcastle don't give me that feeling at all, neither does Birmingham or Edinburgh or Glasgow, which incidentally I always look forward to going to.
This was the first I heard of it. It popped up on my wife’s Facebook account. Wonder why they selected Liverpool next, after London?
To do with the port and cruise liners coming in and their Filipino crews perhaps! I wonder which city outside London attracts the most Filipino tourists?
I agree with Don, stay away from the place, they would steal the milk from your tea them scouse gits. Mind you I am a Manc
