    Good.

I hate Facebook with a vengeance, although I will have to find another way to talk to my kids back to skype probably.

But no Duterte won't do this, it is a stunt, he has too much to lose in doing that unless he is trying to become Kim Jong Un and cut the country off from the world.

At least it would stop me getting multiple friend requests from the same people using different accounts.

I could write my own tin can and string solution, a point to point TCPIP socket would be the string, the tin can would be the message textbox where I delivered the text to at either end.

It's the messaging that matters more to me and I might actually end up writing a dedicated messaging server that I can host on one of my VM's but that would be a bit more involved and use WebApi and a SQL server database.

We actually wrote a custom messaging application like the tin can example a couple of weeks ago to allow some Italian Factory production hardware to talk to our business system. First time I ever wrote anything like that was back in 1998, it's easier now.

I hope Du30 does ban it as many Filipinos have multiple accounts and it is hard knowing who is who and what is going on.
What a nightmare Facebook can be when it is abused in ways like that.

The internet seemed useful in the early days but it just seems to be information overload now.
    Maybe I'm getting old

That's why it probably won't happen.
