It is better to have more ladies in here, as it is in real life also.
    Females' perspective is needed also.

I know,I know, I get a female perspective at least once an hour, more often even, I get female perspective on fishing, on archery (dear lord, if I ever meet cupid at the range I shall snap his arrows across my knee) on trekking, on just about everything of interest really :(

No, I just want to be allowed to have my own perspective, just for once, it's not too much to ask

The obvious question is why the forum doesnt attract the ladies to stay and contribute!

A flowery border round the screen, fashion sub-forum, handbag section etc, recipes and stuff?

For some wives, it is too much to ask
Some men just agree to everything the wife says or does, I have never agreed to this.
"A happy wife is a happy life" indicates that the man's ideas count for diddly squat. :frust:

A lot of old men shouting at each other about politics for 5 years didn't help.

Thats why I asked for it to be moved and I never partake in it.

The ones I wanted are lime green flouro GAS in keeping with the bows camo pattern and the arrows lumi-nocs, its all about colour co-ordination, some people just don't understand its as important as matching handbag/purse combo's are to them.

Or perhaps they are only here to find out about the process of their British passport and when it’s all done, they don’t bother to drop in anymore!

Agreed I think this applies to a lot of couples at various stages of the visa journey.
They come on get the comments advice they need and the next time you see them is at the next stage.

Meanwhile back on the boring topic of Covid 19 and vaccines on Saturday/Sunday the care home where my wife works had 2 residents and 2 staff test positive for Covid 19 despite having had the first vaccination some 6 weeks ago, we can only hope that they dont get to serious a bout of Covid 19, and my best wishes go to those concerned, and obviously im hoping that my wife stays clear of this virus.

If the vaccine is working they should not need hospitalisation and even if they do they should hopefully not die, I am fairly sure that cases like this are being sequenced to identify the variant, if you get any further information about this it is would really good to know the outcomes.

This is a US report from Hawaii I think and applies to the Pfizer Moderna and J&J vaccines rather than the Oxford vaccine Medical experts warn fully vaccinated people could still contract COVID-19 (news12.com)

My wife was back at work yesterday OT whilst on annual leave, the situation has worsened since she was last in work (Monday) there are now 6 residents and 7 Staff that have tested positive with Corona, when one considers there are only 10 residents in total the % is more than half of the residents none of them have been hospitalised at this time, as for the Staff this is creating shortages because in addition to the 7 staff with positive tests there are 3 taking annual leave as March is the end of the year for leave so has to be taken or lost, she is due to work this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon but is worried now about catching Covid..
