Hello everyone! I stumbled upon this site as I was checking out tourist visa tips. Reading a few threads, already happy to register. I have been in the UK 3 times (solo traveller) and I looove it there! I wish to return very soon to get to know an English man who I am having plenty of good laugh online and of course to experience the rest of the UK. Anyone here who just had a recent experience applying for Tourist Visa? I am planning to get multiple entry (2 years) again spending 1 month there on the first visit but not sure how much is enough to show I am able to fund the trip (He offered to finance the trip btw but of course it is my bank statement that will be submitted to the embassy). Tips, please. Thank you!
hello--and welcome to the site. The fact that you have been here 3 times already sort of makes you our new expert on getting a tourist visa! Any tips you wish to share about your successes ?
Nah, not an expert. Seeking recommendations as my situation has changed (I was an OFW but I still am in the Philippines and have not yet filed an income tax as I thought I will be working overseas in no time) Also, that was just one visa to the UK. If there is any tip I can share -> explain what your documents can't in a letter.
Hi and Welcome, usually multi entry visas for 2 or 5 years are given if the applicant has demonstrated that they need to visit the UK on a number of occasions over a period of time for example they are receiving on going medical treatment etc I am not sure tourism fits in. Your new found friend can sponsor your visit by declaring he will fully finance the visit including accomadation. Etc Good Luck
Hello and thank you. I shall think about that more. Anyway, my first 2-year multiple entry visa was just for tourism which I declared on my letter. I toured England, Wales and Scotland. I told the embassy I have watched enough Escape to the Country , movies etc that I need to experience it and 1 visit may not be enough.
