    Good evening to All,

I am Lovela and I am coming to the end of my first 2.5 years of spouse visa and will be applying for further leave to remain soon.

I want to know if I can take IELTS B1 now and will it not expire by the time I apply for my Indefinite Leave to Remain?

    Thank you in advance.

They last for two years but there is a rule that if has been used in previous application can be used in future applications. For that reason recommendation is do the B1 and can then use in ILR and I believe citizenship applications.

B1 is fine and as you say it will be ok for ILR and British Citizenship.
    Good Luck
