Hi there The mrs visa expired on 16th october Am i right in thinking we cant apply before 28 days before the expired visa? Or are we ok starting now? We have filled in docs on the gov website and are at the point off paying the ihs surcharge... Was wonderin if this is ok to pay at this point?
Earliest you can apply is 19 September do not pay now as when you pay triggers application date which is to early before the 19th

Thanks for that Her work as been pestering her few weeks now... And now she has had a letter today stating they want proof that she can continue after 16th october when her visa expires etc etc

UPDATE...we applied 19th september.... Got the extension approved 18th october....not bad 4 weeks Thing is email states it expires on 15 may 2025...but her brp card says 31st december 2024? As anyone else had 2 different dates like this?
They the UK government are putting NI details and BRP on one card target date 2024, so no worries and no cost. You will be updated nearer the time. Congratulations by the way
