Cheers, that come in handy as I plan to go out in March. I've heard Cathay Pacific give good service.

I remember flying Oasis HK in 2007 for £180 return, from LGW. Great while it lasted, the business model was doomed, just wasn't viable. Even VS and BA were panicking - I could have gotten flights for £200 - £300 with those two carriers around the time.

We flew with them, great while it lasted. Can't remember how much exactly but it was cheap.

Premium Economy is a new class that gets you an experience closer to business class for just a little bit cheaper, I fly KLM and they are just starting to roll out this class but not to the Phils yet, there will be a wider two seat configuration I think 2-3-2 for the likes of the 777 with a seat pitch close to current business class and food choices might be slightly better.

I believe a lot of other airlines have already rolled out this Premium experience already Cathay would appear to be one of them.

My coming December flight came in at £1455 with an extra bag on the way out and Economy Comfort for the main AMS-BKK-MNL leg, that's the most I havve paid for a flight since the days when I flew business class quite often, I quite often got GLA-AMS-MNL for around £1250 although more often closer to £1500 back before 2010, it was worth it as I later got a lot of upgrades from economy to business that resulted in my average flight costs over a 10 year period being about £900 per return trip.

Don't think we will ever see those days again.

I expect KLM's Premium class will be just as expensive as the clip you posted.

£500 for an adult UK/HKT/MLA/UK is an excellent price!

No the £1500 is each! So ball park figure in excess of £5000 for all.

Ouch  Best to cut down on the pasulabong.
Still, loads of Cadbury chocolate will not break the bank and it will still all be eaten even if it has partially melted when you get there.

I always bought Lindt at NAIA duty free on arrival to avoid weighing down my bags, but they don't have Lindt any more at least not the last time back in May, it was quite disappointing.

Yes indeed melted chocolate gone white once it has been rehardened is not great so we never buy chocolate or any other gifts at airports, or to take with us normally buy a load of fruit once there so the gift intention is received by the intended.
Learnt the hard way work leaving Red Horse in the fridge!
There’s always fridge magnets in the suitcase however!
