    Hi everyone,

may alam po ba kayo saan at paano mag start?

I don't know but I do know how to use Google translate... most people here use English:

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I am planning to create an online Filipino Store then hopefully have a physical store. I'll start at home first, my problem is that there don't seem to be any Filipino wholesalers in the U.K. It's in our area because we have to go far to buy it.

Do you know where and how to start?

The couple of independent totally Filipino dedicated stores that I have encountered and 1 restaurant, in my immediate area, did not fare too well. In fact they closed, with the owners in debt. The usual "borrow" lark.
The Asian stores, will eventually be full of Filipino wares and so many other things to the point of rendering anything dedicated to Philippines, in particular, useless.
One store in Chester is run by a Pinay, but she stocks all sorts of Asian stuff https://bahaykubo.co.uk/shop/

    Good luck.

Long time ago now but I think there was one in Norwich and similar to what the others said it was more of an Asian food store rather than Filipino. Most people in the UK know what Chinese, Thai and Indian food is but would have no idea what Filipino stuff is - Putting my old UK hat back on for a few seconds: IMHO they would probably assume it's cheap shyte :D

Couple here but they are oriental stores that stock a few pinoy products, makes sense as there are Thai, Chinese, malay etc. I went in a huge pinoy specific store in mississauga GTA earlier this year, even had a jollibee inside and a few filipino food stores that had upped their game and sold decent food, massive shopping area but a huge pinoy population locally. There are Chinese companies in the Birmingham area that seem to attract Filipino shoppers also.
Dhane, best of luck starting from home.
