TV Series "Happy Valley". I missed this when it was first shown and it is very good (I have not seen series 3 yet). Awards: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3428912/awards/?ref_=tt_awd
Just re-watched The Plane, two things or rather mistakes I missed the first time, they said the language they speak is tagalog AND the pronunciation of Jolo.
Knock at the Cabin film,it’s got a tiny bit of a Filipino association as Dave Bautistas grandfather was a Pinoy (he was manny pacquiao’s friend before disassociating himself from the boxer following pacmans homophobic remarks),the film is ok’ish, not good not bad.
Just watched the film 'Plane' with Gerald Butler and Mike Colter. Good pace film wish several references to the PH.
They mispronounced jolo, said they speak Tagalog there, and Butler made anti-english remarks early on in the film, other than that it was OK.
Movie: Saving Private Ryan. I've never felt so shocked watching the start of any move as I felt watching the depiction of horror that was at the beginning of this movie. Absolutely incredible, I was squeezing the arm rests
Did anyone see the whole series? I did and felt the last few episodes contributed to a feeling of being let down.
