Day after tomorrow, my delightful wife will land back in Manchester, at silly o'clock in the morning, after a fortnight in Cebu, to visit family and attend the Novena at Sto. Nino Cathedral and the Sinulog Festival. While she was away, I had the kitchen floor redone completely (Joists, floorboards, lino and re-installing the various cupboards). Eaten whatever I fancied, had a few cans of cider and lager, a few shots of Grappa in my afternoon coffee, a whisky and coke or two and some Tawny Port while sitting at the computer desk reading news or watch uchub. Spent the last couple afternoons shampooing the hallway and living room carpet, and I must admit that the small VAX washer I bought from Curry's, was way better that the Rug Doctor washer that I initially rented from "The Range" (item which didn't work properly at all and got a full refund after showing photo evidence of the epic fail). So, now, I wait patiently at home, pondering if I should go and get a supadupa fresh ribeye steak for supper or just raid the freezer for whatever lies within that takes my attention and stimulates my appetite.. I did miss her............
my wife flies out on wednesday--together with her sister and daughter ( both here on 3 year health worker visas.--been here a year already). But 11 fly back here !! work that out.
thanks--will do. my main apprehension is my wife's son. He will be living with us--to begin with anyway. Ive never had an 18 year old living with me before--dunno how that will work out. I asked my wife last night what plans she has for him. She just shrugged and replied "dunno".
Will discuss when you call, 17.5 year old arrived in our house, love her like my own but there are settling in talking points!
Tried to SMS you. but files too big After many trials I had to try to copy and paste from BTcloud to desktop and then download from there... pheeewwww
