They are doing my head in.:erm:

This is not a rant, don't worry, just airing some of my views and opinions on the matter.

Ok, so the Lib-dem have gone back on their election manifesto about tuition fees...
But the funny thing, the guy that came out with it initially, Vince Cable, ain't voting on it, he's abstaining...:erm:

    So what...???
The Tories didn't, and they actually won the election, so what the students are doing, is totally stupid, in my view.

Why should I subsidize, with my taxes, somebody else's brat in having a good time while at university, partying, drinking, sh**g*ng, drug taking and urinating on Cenotaphs...???

The yanks, have got it refined to a fine art...
The parents open a trust fund for that purpose, and after the kids are off to the campuses, they themselves find all sorts of jobs to earn money for the rest of the courses and what ever...

This spoiled lot want everything on a silver platter because the nanny state took care of them since before birth.

They should wake up and smell the coffee, because as far as I know the State gives anyone an education up to a certain point...

Anyrthing else it is up to the individual...

So, to keep it nice and simple, if any of that shower, breaks the law while carrying out a legal and authorized demonstration, they should be arrested for whatever crime, civil, criminal or otherwise, charged and taken immediately to a court for judgement and sentencing.
    Without recourse to an appeal.

The same argument can be made about health care (and is on the other side of the pond) why should I work hard and some one ele who cannot work get medical treatment when I am sick etc.

The student lifestyle of boozing and what not comes with being young, and is not paid for by your taxes, that is usually paid by low pay jobs that most students take up to keep a few quid in their pockets, plus when they leave Uni they will also have a large debt to pay off for many years to come. Though the Tories want to increase that debt as it does not worry mot of their constituents..

This is more about ideology than making cuts!

Either we make higher education too expensive for anyone guaranteed to get a high paying job to consider it, or we have a system in place where affordable and quality education is available to every young person wishing to better educate themselves.. And personally, I prefer the latter option:like:
