If the kidnappers and thief's Don't get you, the crazy traffic drivers
will. you have more chance of being knocked down than being shot at.

Ah yes ... the joys of riding Ceres buses. At over 100 kph. On the wrong side of the road.

Kay's job necessitates her travelling through Metro Manila at very odd hours of the night, because a lot of shoots are done at night in public buildings, such as airports and churches, when the place is empty. She never worries about this, but it gives me litters of kittens!

My wife had a job in Manila, that involved travelling late at night and early in the morning. As a lone female in her early twenties the experience was difficult for her and she gave up that work as a consequence.

Perv and predator dodging was an issue.

Ana was at the Korean Embassy in 2007 while it was still in the building at the corner of Gil Puyat and Makati Ave, as she was about to exit the front door at ground level, an armed robbery started bullets flying all over the place, a payroll van was attacked and quite a few bystanders killed.

Not that hard to get shot at in the Phils, plus she has a bullet wound entry and exit scar that goes from the front to back of her neck from when she was a child, her friend shot her with a rifle that he did not know was loaded.
