    Hi,
I am having a look at Google Chrome browser but cannot find a way to see all of the bookmarks/folders on the same screen as the page I am viewing. I know there is a bookmarks bar but that only shows a limited amount of bookmarks.
Internet Explorer can show a full list of favourites on the left or right side.

When I installed Chrome it gave me the option to import all my bookmarks from IE and whether to have the favourites bar on the right or the left of the screen, I found the transition from IE to Chrome a little fiddly.

Are you thinking about Chrome or Firefox, Timmers?

Chrome browser, I installed it on a laptop my wife now uses, I don't really like it, I only installed it because it was required to connect with my smart TV.

I don't really like change, I tend to stick with the software that I'm used to and have used for years, for me I cant see the advantage of Chrome but I am told there are many. I don't like the layout of Chrome, each to his own I suppose.

I'm a Microsoft man, but I do use Chrome 99% of the time.

The Chrome bookmarks bar has a chevron at the end which expands to a full menu of all bookmarks, alternatively you can use the button at the end of the address bar which is effectively a main menu, with a bookmarks option hanging off the menu, they just don't provide a permanent on screen bookmarks option.

No, but there are always pop-ups asking me to download an update. I always ignore those.

Maybe I'm not understanding the question properly but to see your bookmarks in Chrome click on the 3 parallel bars at the top right corner of the browser then select 'bookmarks' from the drop down menu:

    Hi Scotsbloke.
I am trying to find a way of seeing all my bookmarks all the time as Internet Explorer (favourites) does.
The 3 parallel bars you mentioned only, for me, show the bookmarks bar. This is very limited in it's scope.

Yes Howerd, that helped a lot, thanks.
I can see the icon now in Chrome. It is just a matter of seeing if it does what I hope it will do!
