hi everyone sorry to ask these questions that im sure have already been asked a million times, 1, whats the best information to use to prove im a home owner ? I pay a mortgage and have my monthly statements but what else is needed 2, im going to see my accountant next week and will ask him to put a folder together to show my financial status is their a list any where I can print out and pass on to him to help, im self employed. 3, how far should I go to show that me and my gf will get married ? I know its difficult as without a visa yet its difficult to know how much to do
Proving intent to marry isnt exactly easy. Estimates and quotes for wedding dress / suit / cake / reception. That sort of thing. Any replies to enquiries for a ceremony. Etc
1. Land registry certificate and charge certificate is what I am going to submit (our first application as home owners) 2. Not sure, but send all you got including self employed certification, ni statements and SA302 (or whatever it,s called) plus copy of tax return. Also business bank statements back to April 2014 showing payments and NI contributions. And invoices. 3. I suggest some correspondence with a registry office making enquiries about getting married and also make a provisional booking for a wedding.
3, how far should I go to show that me and my gf will get married ? i provisionally booked a wedding at my local registery office--for sept 1st. cost me £40--and i got the paperwork and receipt to prove it. wont happen now--so i guess thats £40 to the registry office xmas fund.
Proving you are going to get married is impossible as we all know, you just have to show the UKVI that there is more than just intent. Exchanged emails between RO and yourself are a must in my opinion, I emailed my local RO asking about the process of marrying a Philippine National, I sort of kept the emails going unnecessarily just to get more correspondence between me and the RO. I did a similar thing with a proposed wedding venue at a local hotel never intending to use their services. I also submitted the receipt for him and her wedding rings. As the boys say, wedding dresses, suits, honeymoon venue it all counts, at the end of the day you have to prove the likelihood of you getting married. The trick is to collate all the correspondence connected with the wedding without you actually having to pay anything out.
just more delays--so now i'm planning to fly over in sept to be with her for a few weeks--and hopefully get wed there. she would prefer that. then she can apply for spouse visa by the end of the year.
