Aldi is better. My wife works there. She's the Aldi Queen! And it's a whole lot cheaper. And Tescos are really annoying withall the scrap paper that they give you whenever you check out. No, I don't want £1.09 of my next shop. I want £1.09 of this shop! And I'm not collecting vouchers. And I don't have a club card.
Feel better now you have got that off your chest Graham? I get the general feeling from your post that you're not a Tesco customer
I have to take my mum to Tesco every week. Drives me nuts all that stuff. I can't even be bothered with my 0.27p off my next shop voucher. It goes in recycling. I go to Aldi and get about 20 quid off my next shop instead. And the staff are better looking. Oh yeah. and another thing, Tesco staff have those stupid microphone things on their heads too. So you're never really sure if they are listening to you or if someone else is talking in their ear.
No Aldi near here either. We have Tesco, Lidl and Co-op plus some smaller shops. I am a fan of Tesco's Everyday value stuff - Corn Flakes (500g) just 31p for example! I think that beats Tesc/Lidl hands down. I doubt that Tesco makes any profit from me!
I buy that cornflakes too To keep cost down i buy tesco make and sometimes Asda as i dont see anything wrong with that.
We dont have a lot of choice here. So Tesco it has to be. Tesco are a large employer of Filipinos here.
I bought my wedding suit in the Philippines at an F&F store - they import their clothes from Tesco in the UK!
Just to explain that a bit further for those unaware, there isn't a Tesco supermarket in PI, it's just the F&F part of the chain, set out in Ayala, hence the designer branding feel/appeal,
