I was there but now I'm here. You are here, even though you were there before. But where will we both be after?

@oss I found all my BF messages in my junk folder this morning (for the first time), any reason for this?

Just thought I'd make you aware :)

It think oss warned of this possibility. If you can, set up a filter in your email client to accept all mail from British Filipino's new email server.

From my regular BF account email address (info@british-filipino.com), I thought I'd just bring it to your attention because since the domain changed a week ago I have had no problems until today, I thought maybe you had been doing a bit of tweaking or something like that, I wrote twerking at first, glad I changed it :)

Note that I am receiving my notifications as normal now to my inbox, it was just the four emails that ended up in my junk folder this morning.

Were they old ones notifying about the site move? When I sent that lot I had to do it a few times dues to bugs in my program and I also made a mistake in the text tht was likely to have spam filters junking the mail, Rob has corrected me on that since as he is our email expert.

If it isn't that then it is related to the content and context of the emails, there is not a lot we can do about that as it is your spam filter and inbox that controls what it thinks is junk email, some of them are quite aggressive.

No they were not old ones notifying me of the site move, they were replies to threads I have been watching, no worries oss, everything appears to be back to normal now :)

It'll be your spam filter then, these things have to learn to trust email domains, it is not something we can really do anything about here.

Just discovered three messages in my Hotmail junk mail folder, all dated yesterday.
Strangely enough the first message that went into my Junk folder is from Timmers, mentioning that his BF messages were going into his Junk folder.

To be honest Hotmail/Live/Outlook are notorious when it comes to mis-tagging emails as spam - at least the emails are getting through which is a good thing, but being sent to junk is not. Gmail don't tag our emails as spam, nor does AOL or Yahoo, so its a bit of a lottery. All you can do is to report the email as not spam and it won't get sent to junk again.

For the technical minded here: we use Fasthosts email platform, our outgoing emails have a valid SPF record, but we don't sign them with DKIM or DMARC (Fasthots don't have such facility as yet), this is probably why Hotmail is whining. As Jim quite rightly says, theres nothing we can do our end, we are the mercy of the email gods, and Hotmail is a bit of a diva - fussy and high maintenance in email terms.

If anyone get emails into the spam box just mark them as 'not spam' as it helps you and probably others too.

Yes, I marked the mails as 'not spam' and have since received BF mails into my inbox.
