If the supermarket shelves are anything to go by they're eating even less meat just now and not by choice
We have no problem getting meat from supermarkets. In fact there is all that one may need and more. I am even contemplating getting a turkey drumstick and thigh package from Morrisons (£4.75) for Christmas, not really a great fan of roast turkey, but a nice Italian style casserole cooked slowly in copious amounts of red wine and other delicious bits and bobs, will go down a treat ... And the news that on the whole less meat is consumed, I would take with a huge pinch of sea salt (excuse my poshness)
