this thread is of help to those who wanted to save there selves from being charge so bad when sending money. Western union charges a lot here and there. So any other suggestions lovely people?? would it be possible to transfer money using your UK bank to Phil bank? I remember my fiance told me that his UK bank told him he can transfer cash to my Phil Bank for free. Maybe you can try this out and let us know :)

    HI Forge,

I've been using BPI Europe services for years and they are realy good. All you have to do is register with them and they will send you a form to fill up. Remittance charge is only £5.00.

I also have a Paypal account and is very helpful and handy when shopping online but not sure about remittances as there is a charge per withdrawal. Might work out to be more expensive than using a Bank/Remittance Companies.
