Can I be classed as a parent of Jubys 2 daughters one aged 2o the other 17?

In terms of her daughters coming here on a family visit it says "to join a parent settled here but if Juby is only on a spouse visa then she is not settled here is that right then the daughter eldest one cant join as she is over 18

    Thoughts please

Specific Family visit visa are no longer available.

Family visitors will need to apply for a Standard Visitor visa.
    Here's the UKVI webpage link:-
    https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor-visa/overview

Under the 'old' rules it was a requirement that the family member being visited must be settled in the UK
This is no longer the case.
Anyway, under the 'old' rules, as stepfather you would have been qualified as a settled family member.

Review the webpage linked as there's some additional requirements for under 18's

Reasons to return home against reason to stay are still the major requirement.

    Good Luck

Ho @Micawber thanks for the reply perhaps I should explain in more detail I have seen the link youve provided already and this is what made me ask the question.
Juby my wife is over here on a spouse visa since October 2015
we now want to bring her daughters over
The youngest is 17 and if I read it right we can bring her over on a "join family living permanently in the uk visa" question is,is Juby her mum classed as permanent or because she is under 18 am I classed as a stepfather, and therefore I can sponsor her?
The second daughter is 21 who we want to bring over so she can settle get a job and live in the UK.

Any thoughts on the above from everyone would be welcome
