I struggled to find cheap flights to Manila, so many of the so called "cheap flight sites" dont deliver. They advertise low prices but when you try to book the cheap flight is not available!
I found this site and saved around £80 off the normal price maybe members would like to check it out and see how prices compare. http://go2l.ink/1CnE

    Thanks.

I go to Skyscanner and Kayak to find the most likely cheapest... then go to the individual airline's own website to confirm the price, sort out the best routing and times, book, including seat selection, and pay (by credit card).

This past few trips I've paid under £500 (from Manchester, which is more expensive than flying from London), with good airlines such as Etihad, Emirates and Qatar.

Hi Jim. I did a search using one of the flight comparison sites I actually booked through Travel Trolley. Was cheaper than direct with Emirates!

Booking direct with the airline may well have better conditions for ticket change or refund than using an agent site, always worth checking the small print.

Emirates currently give 1.4% cashback on tickets booked on their site if you access it through Quidco.

I agree with Dave_E. I had a major hassle earlier this year booking Emirates flights through an online booking agent, for my family from UK to Seychelles for our wedding. I inadvertently booked my daughter in her maiden name, and getting it corrected was an absolute nightmare. Calls to agent didn't help, endless times spent on hold, eventually having to call their head office in Canada. Finally having to cancel original booking and rebook with an added £100 rebooking fee, plus at a higher fare. I spoke to Emirates directly and whilst they were understanding, they were unable to make any changes to the booking themselves as it had been booked through an agent. Sometimes the savings aren't worth the risk.

I nearly got caught out last year when boarding a flight from Johannesburg to Harare, I was stopped from boarding the plane because my ticket was in the name of Tim and my passport in the name Timothy, the girl at the gate had to get permission from her supervisor before allowing me to board.

Your plane ticket must allows reflect the name in the passport, a lot of people have been caught out by this and have missed flights or as in your case pay to amend the ticket.

That's a good deal from PAL. It's not too expensive really when you book it in advance. ;)

When I booked my flight from ph to uk. I found it weird that mobile emirates app has 100 pounds more price to their flights.

So I booked through desktop instead.

Another tip, going from ph to U.K., if you are near Clark Airport, pick that terminal instead of NAIA because they have cheaper flights. And there's no Traffic too.

But if your going from uk to ph, pick NAIA because it cheaper Than Clark airport.

And try to stick with one airline, with that, you'll gain reward points and can enjoy the perks.

Philippine airline is so expensive too. So big no to them lol. Emirates is the one I picked since I don't have to upgrade my baggage with their 30kg allowance.

And I'm obsessed with their food.
