It's an awful form and it's written ambiguously and you sit and wonder are they talking about the applicant (your child) or me (also the applicant!)...

Anyway I suspect you've done it all now - did mine about 15 months ago and got the applicants passports about a month ago - good luck

Yes, the application (for my son) went off to thePassport Office beginning of July.
I did send my own passport with it, in the end, after having done a bit of phoning around. It was returned to me beginning of September, after I'd requested it.
Fingers crossed now. It's 'declaration received and being processed' on the tracking site. I'll be over there with my family again, beginning of November for a couple of months.
