Hi. As early as now, I really want to gather information about the permanent residency application. Last August of this year, my husband's probationary residency has been approved. (We applied here in the Philippines) We settled everything a week after that and just about getting ready for the annual report this January. I just want to know the procedures on how to apply permanent residency. I know it's almost the same with probationary residency, but is financial capability an issue? When we applied for the probationary residency, it wasn't an issue at all. But now, I am just wondering if in the permanent residency application it will be an issue at all? I can assure though that we are not public burdens as I have a job, but he still can't find one.

Are you are supporting him ?

Yes I am. I am working at the uni. As I mentioned on my previous post he was a tourist visa holder and he wasn't allowed to. But now that he gained his probationary residency, I think he is, provided we're going to get a clearance from DOLE but knowing this country it's very hard to find a job

The Annual Report is nothing major. Your husband should take his ACR Card, Passport and photocopies of his 13A Probationary Visa, Bio details page and the page showing the most recent entry stamp to the BI office. Takes no more than 10 - 15 minutes.

He needs to submit his application for the Permanent 13A three months before the expiry date of the temporary one. Same paperwork as before.
