Hi all...Looking for some urgent advice please.

Have just submitted my fiancée Kris's online settlement visa application. I have paid the fee and booked an appointment for her at VFS Manila on 9 March.

I was hoping - as previously advised - that the Visa4UK online service would recognise (from the application) that Kris has a 14 year old dependent child and would allow me to pay the second visa fee for her son.

Not so - no such option. The next available stage is to register with VFS should we wish to purchase additional services.

I need to pay for her son as quickly as possible to be able to try and secure an appointment on the same day as Kris.

    Swift responses most welcome!!!

    Many thanks.

Did you do that on the same account?

Hi @Brom27 - yes I did. I was advised here that was how to do it...

.....At least I'm fairly sure I was! :(

I created a new application on my account as a dependant and I can see an option to pay. Maybe try doing that on a different account?

Thanks. So are you saying I need to log back in and click on "Apply for Someone Else"?

I guess I have to record Kris's son as "Child or Other Dependent of Settled Person" (even 'tho he's not?)

Yes. I don't see other option that would fit.

Yes, that is what I did with my wife's son. The Visa will say "To accompany parent".

    Hopefully last question for today!

In the sponsor section her son has to state what my relationship As Sponsor is.

As he (me on his behalf!) can't use "Father" as his birth Father's details have to be provided elsewhere as he's under 18 what should be entered here?

By the way "stepfather" (although I'm not) isn't available. Should I just use the "Friend" option?

    Thanks.

I've been directed to the IHS website!

Is this correct? Kris's (Mother) didn't have to pay now (which I understand is only due when she applies for first FLR following our marriage.

Whoever designed this Byzantine process should be shot - and I'm a civil servant!
