Hi I have a FLRM spouse visa, my husband and i booked a holiday to tenerife with our baby son for September. I now need to go through the visa process and was hoping for some guidance on visa type i would need and what supporting documents, price and timescale. This forum has been very helpful to us in the past so when my head was sent into a spin reading whats needed i though best to come here to seek advice. Regards Mark & Sherey
Take a look at the link below which is for the Spanish Embassy in London, alternatively there may be a Spanish Consulate near to where you live to obtain the visa; http://spain.embassyhomepage.com/index.htm
Think we made a huge mistake choosing Spain. We have a embassy in Edinburgh, phone number when you select visa option gives you a website address, there is nobody to speak with, you are however given a website to visit, when you go to the website you are given a list of agencies who can help but charge a fee. This is pathetic, no wonder Spanish economy in trouble - they certainly do not make things easy for those wishing to visit. Only wish we had looked into this first, looks like we will receive no help from the embassy so hoping someone reading this tread has been to Spain on holiday and can advise.?
I think they are just trying to emulate the red and yellow of the national flag but yes not very nice colours for a website.
Reading some threads about getting spanish schengen visa makes me want to plan our holiday somewhere else I need sunlight
Is there website a joke? Looks like it's from the 90's... Does anyone know if a fiancee can get a schengen visa for Spain?
Of course. It's not stopping you from getting a Schengen Visa. If you are planning that she is better off applying for that whilst in the Philippines so sort that out while she's still in the Philippines.
This an extremely useful website. I have asked questions several times and have always had a reply within a day or two. The answer are actual answers to the question, not a useless 'standard reply'. http://europa.eu/youreurope/advice/ Good luck.
It's quite useful. So I need to get an entry visa to her to Spain but visa application is free of charge. But the thing is, I tried filling up the online application and it's asking me to pay for a fee.
OrB. I just read my last post again. It might be it was a little ambiguous When I said this is an extremely useful website I meant this one :- http://europa.eu/youreurope/advice/ One can ask a specific question there and get a `personalised reply to that question.
