hello.. me and my husband just finished paying our visa4uk application for my son in the phils.
and we have set an appointment for VFA via visa4uk. after View Payment is Register at Commercial Partner, which is leading us to VFS again to book an appointment. We had completed registering at that commercial partner. but it is leasing us now to this overseas citizenship application. will somebody tell me what is this all about?

and also.. my son's IHS charge is £0.00 which surprised me.

Not sure if you're supposed to pay for his NHS because you're already married.

I didn't pay NHS for my son before but that was along my Fiancé vsia.

@martian , I didnt pay for my kids also. Below 18 yrs old are exempted for payment but you still need to print the receipt and include in your submission as they need to see the IHS reference number.

i would be very interested to see a link to a ukvi statement about under 18's being exempted.

-so--will your son have to apply for 2 lots of FLR as well ?

also--as he hasnt been charged for IHS--i can only presume he is not covered by the NHS untill he does get FLR and then pays the IHS surcharge.

Please see my reply to you on another thread about child's IHS fee. It could be that.

Yeah we just lodged the application couple of weeks ago and he was part of my application although still 2 payments for application & IHS.

IHS is only charged upon application of FLR.

just as well youre applying for flr--and ihs. i would be very worried if no nhs cover for a child.

so--this is a hidden extra if you bring a child over with you--on your fiancee visa. 2 flr fees for the child.

i did a trial run on the ukvi site about my wifes son--who should be applying this summer. definetely have to pay the IHS fee for him---so i guess it will be a visa that coincides with my wifes next flr--in 18 months time.

Maybe it makes a difference if you are already married.
