If this is true, he should feel embarassed. What an absolute waste of money, just to show off. Would he still be paid even if he doesn't play???
Is it the players fault? No Is it the managers fault? To a degree yes but he doesn't do the negotiations! In this case as with Paul Pogba the super agent an Italian who's name escapes me but is easily researched stands to make millions himself. It's suggested that out of the Pogba transfer fee of £ 89 million the agent will pocket north of £40 million!! Very easy to blame one individual especially if one has no great love of the sport,equally to sensationalise press headlines to grab reader attention, I would suggest.
It is the sheer amount of money, allegedly paid out and in future wages that is obscene. And the agents are like leeches in my view.
Most wages are paid in basics plus bonuses plus appearance money etc etc you can't blame the players. While it might be obscene to many it is where it is with many high profile sports in a similar position. You mention Mourinho as a thread heading, " money grabbing Italian agent" might of been more appropriate. But hang on that might not have the desired impact.
