    Hello BF.

I entered the UK on spouse visa on january 2015. My 30th month will be this July and I'm planning to apply on that month.

Has anyone here Applied for flr (m) recently?
Do i still need to take another english test or can i use the previous one from the previous successful application?

What do i need to pay during the application?

And is this a yes or a no?

2.2 Is this the 1st time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above categories (including previous leave granted as a ancé(e) or proposed civil partner) with your current sponsor?

And which one should i tick on this question?

2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are choosing to extend your current leave in one of the above categories.

First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection, or as a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a ancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months).

    Or

You are making a rst application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to enter/remain as a partner of a settled person, or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection or a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of a settled person or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection.

Thank you very much for your assistance

What level was your English test when you applied for spouse visa?

New rule states that applicants applying for extensiom after 2.5 years in the UK will need to sit a new English test at level A2 or higher.

You pay for the application fee and the IHS. If you opt to go for one of the premium service centre you will pay additional £500.

    2.2 No
2.3 First period of leave to remain

I don't really know the level because it doesn't have a1 or a2 in the ielts certificate. I took ielts academic and i had a band score of 7 overall

    Ezile,

Why do you need to apply for spouse visa extension when you can just apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Because you can only apply for ILR after 5 years. You need to renew your first visa after 2.5 years for another 2.5 years and then when that runs out (5 years) you can apply for the final ILR

No this is our first visa so we are not even together...if it was our second one i would not be worrying so much as at least she would be with me in the UK. :(

That's my question as well. Mine was ielts academic band score 7.0 provided by cambridge english. I checked the ielts level compared to cefr and it was equivalent to C2 which is the highest level.

Do i need to take a new english test for my application next month????

Hello! I am applying for my 2nd FLR (M) too. Visa expires 1st August. You do not have to take IELTS again if your scores in Listening and Speaking are above A1 level. :like:

Cambridge English is still an accepted awarding body so you don't have to take a new one.

My wife applied for 1st FLR(M) 2.5yr last year and the online application allowed to state past ielts cert B1 used for 1st spouse visa application and extension was granted.

The present ILR application at 5yrs doesn't allow the use of past ielts certs if not from current approved list.
