Effective June 1 when contacting UKVI from outside the UK.

£5-48 to make an email enquiery ? who on earth cooks up these prices ?

£5.48 to submit a f*cking query to UKVI from outside the country.

It's a damned disgrace - I work in the public sector and if I or a member of my staff get external email requests we do a really radical thing - we respond as quickly and accurately as possible - without charging a bean.

Anyone remember pre- privatisation Directory Enquiries? It cost a big fat nada - providing a valuable service to the public. Nowadays a 45 second call to 118 118 can cost up to £6.

Rip-off Britain - ordinary folk getting fleeced once again.

What?!! £5.48 for an email enquiry?! Just 2mos I haven't been on here and some changes happened for visa application... sending original and photo copies of supporting docs from Phil's to UK and 200quid increase for a settlement fee geezzz!!!

Yeah, glad we got our visas before these changes took effect.

Although I was affected with the fee increase when I applied for my FLR(M).
