Nationwide has been mentioned before because of its low charges on overseas ATM use (2%)

My brother has been with them a while and recently sent me this link

    http://www.nationwide.co.uk/product...end-tab#tab:Recommendafriendandshareand163200

Having recomended me and sent me the "code" on the recomendation form he did on line

I used their "Switch" service to transfer and close my old account took 7 working days

Nationwide give each of us £100 within 30 days

I chose the FlexDirect account and pay in at least a £1000 a month and have at least 2 Direct Debits all transfered over

If I keep £2500 credit in the account they will pay 5% for the first year £125 of interest

and in my case have given a free no charges overdraught of £500

    A pretty good deal methinks

You can also arrange an internal transfer to a savings a/c But make sure you are on the .75% ISA and not the .5% one
