Hope you are enjoying your stay in London. If you were anywhere near, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, Tower of London, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Embankment, South Bank, London Eye last week you may have seen myself Asawa and some of my family. London is the greatest city in the world.

Me too except I moved out of London at the age of 20. But you are right, it is a world class city.

I find that quite amusing as I often hear that phrase from the people in London :D

I did not know about Lacock. I just looked it up. Attractive village evidently.

Certainly, it's a beautifully preserved village in Wiltshire and what caught my attention was the people who were actually "dressed up" as if they're still living in that particular halcyon :) tourists even took a chance of having a selfie with them :p I honestly thought I was walking into a movie set or something :D and speaking of which, I also found out that the place was seen in some Harry Potter films :geek:

Seems to get used a lot for various film sets. I was down that way a few years ago and took my wife there, to Bath, Windsor, Stonehenge over the course of several days. Also visited Avebury (another stone circle) . But was unaware of Lacock so we missed out.

No worries, it's not too late :p you and your wife may still come and visit Lacock. Btw, speaking of Bath, I definitely wanna go back there... its Georgian architecture and exceptional honey-coloured Bath stone is a must see  Jane Austen inspired place :like: (if you happen to be a bookworm)

Windsor is also captivating ;) Stonehenge is utterly impressive, not to mention the wonders that came with it :D (it's windy and can get really cold up there, but I didn't mind... coz it was all worth it):)

If you are still in the UK you should try visiting York. I'm sure you would like all the history there
