I did slightly better, I got 69.75 from HSBC last evening (the Foreign Exchanges in the Far East had just opened). The Pound has also strengthened against the Euro, up €0.13.

£ has dropped against the peso today. Yesterday would have been a better time to buy.

Good news after the low rates over the last year or more , I got only 62 in Cebu in January . Up to 65 in July , so good to see it still going in the right direction .

Long term, I think the rate will be getting better.

The peso is performing very poorly (as is the £), and the Central Bank are not reacting. The pound was boosted by indications that the interest rates will be rising soon.

We would be getting 80 PhP to a pound if not for the devaluation in the pound following something that happened last year.

I predict we'll be seeing 72 PhP to a pound in early 2018.
