    hi everyone!

I just want to share my sister’s experience in applying for successful tourist visa.

    Date applied - oct 2
Date email from vfs- oct 17
    VFS office - cebu

    Documents submitted:
    - onnline application form
    - certificate of employment
    - payslip
    - 6 months bank statement
    - letter from me and husband (stating we will allow her to stay in our place during the scotland phase of travel)
    - letter from my sister stating the reason of her travel and a detailed itinerary (and estimated budget, taking out scotland phase). She explained that she will be coming back in part by saying that her savings in the company scheme is still valid at the time of application plus other commitment to investments (she had to show this since she is single and living with my parents, so she cant provide real estate or utility bill, we had to put a case that her strong ties to ph is a secured job and significant investments)
    - she has travelled overseas but her passport wasnt returned by dfa when she renewed it. As proof, she submitted photos of iconic places where she has been (burj khalifa, merlion/marina bay sands, ocean park etc that are in her facebook check-ins).

My sister will fund her entire trip so my husband and i didnt provide any bank statement.
