Watching you tube yesterday on the ferry and came across a video of Judith Durham The Seekers and fondly remembered she was my first crush. Who was yours?
No hesitation in saying Elizabeth Montgomery - Samantha in "Bewitched" She could put a spell on me anyday! Susan Stranks of Magpie also ... particularly on "no bra" days.
I met her when she was between the ages of 5 to 7, I was 8 to 10, my parents used to arrange a family holiday in Rothesay every year in a small hotel, there was some connection between the hotel and the Zavaroni's, my memory says that one of the Zavaroni's worked as a cleaner for the hotel but that is probably wrong as they owned a successful fish and chip shop in the town and probably weren't short of a few bob. I do remember this tiny really young lassie singing her heart out each evening in the main lounge of the hotel, she was very very good even then, we went back to that hotel several times and I think Lena was there every time. Regards a first crush, hard to say, probably Judy the girl I grew up with in the same tenement building, or Margaret who lived in the flat next door in the same building, funnily enough Ana is a lot like Margaret. On the tele it would have likely been Diana Rigg in the Avengers in the early 1960s and a little later Wendy Craig, my first real life infatuation was a lassie by the name of Lesley who was incredibly similar to Wendy Craig. And I would agree with Gerry, Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched was stunning : http://static.cinemagia.ro/img/db/actor/01/16/71/elizabeth-montgomery-949782l.jpg And Barbara Eden of "I dream of Jeannie" fame : http://www.trbimg.com/img-556dc6c0/...f-jeannie-star-barbara-eden-arrive-2015-06-01
Some years later I found my self pandering after the Lambs Navy Rum girl Carolyn Monroe She also appeared in a couple of bond films. Absolutely stunning
Haha yes definitely agree with Carolyn Monro , but that was a few years later . Even Joana Lumley in The Avengers was a fave at the time . Probably many more over the years also .
