Please recommend me an Annulment Attorney in Philippines, who can do that as soon as possible.

My girlfriend has been married for 20 and separated for 5 years. She lives in Borongan, Eastern Samar. I would like her here ASAP.

Any advisors she could visit on her trip to Tacloban on Monday 13th November

Oh her husband is a devil and very uncooperative. BUT I think he will be happy because he is living with a Dept. Education collegue, which means a sack if his employers find out

That has little or no bearing on the situation, but it may worsen it, as a threatened sack from his postion may result in you both being reported, slammed in a filthy remand facility, tried and jailed for adultery, with the keys thrown away for good measure........
If he is aware of your presence on the scene he may make your life extra difficult.
I would make him an offer he could not refuse, in a brown envelope, for his signature..........

    My 2 piso worth.....

sorry--cant give lawyers details. i gather some have become a bit reluctant to get involved with annulment work.

as aromulus refers--best you stay well away from the philippines while its going on. if you do want to try for a quick annulment--it wll cost you a lot more. gears need a lot more grease.

oh--and ive heard the going rate for a husband not to oppose it is a million peso.

IF you can find a well connected lawyer--with a proven track record of annulment successes--i think 6 months is possible. and i would imagine 5 grand would cover it. others say 3 g for a 3 year wait--it really is a minefield.

strange we get so many annulment caes on here.

another idea is for her to take up residence out of the country--say hong kong. file for divorce there. a HG divorce is recognised in the UK--so as a HK resident she could apply for a UK settlement visa as your fiancee--or spouse--in due course.

    err--why the hurry ?

That's good to know. Hurting cause after exit from EU, the immigration laws here may be tighter. Also her eldest daughter is 18. I believe she can be brought here after my girlfriend comes here, up to the age is 24 as a dependent

I think you are throwing yourself with both feet at the deep end without thinking of any consequences financial or otherwise.

    Is there a plan "B"??

Good luck! If you hear of a Lawyer being able to do it in 6 months I advise you to tread very, very carefully. I read on here and have personal experience of it taking 2-3 years.

Yes I know it is going to be costly. I am doing this so the kids have a better future. Also when I pass away my wife and kids can come and manage my house and estate, and stay here if they like. My wife and I plan to emigrate from UK after 5 years when she gets a British Passport

I think before you get an annulment, divorce will probably be legalized in Phils.

Also I think since Duterte came to power a lot of Lawyers are shying away of what is basically bribing judges and court officials.
