Memorise God Save the Queen, start drinking tea and eating biscuits, practice your Posh English accent, learn and practice banters and British humour, and watch football.

Try to focus on the “after” part, this application will soon be a distant memory.

Yes.. and the good news is February is a cheap month for direct flights: Manila to London £510. Just need a CFO sticker in the wife's passport (she already did the seminar).

Thanks for pointing that out, yes we knew about this restriction. The plan is fly to Manila as soon as her passport is received (hopefully with the visa granted) check in a hotel then get the CFO sticker in her passport ASAP. She can then fly to London on the first available flight.
We are hoping the CFO sticker issue is just a matter of falling in line and waiting without having to make appointments.

Make plans when she is back in the uk. Organizing who and when to see ppl or places would take a bit of planning to get the best deal.

Check the waiting time for a CFO, we were told there is a 4 month waiting list, thankfully because my asawa is an OSW she could get it on the day

    You've scared me with that!

I have just checked appointments in Manila and it seems I could book anything from Friday onwards.

Apologies, I'm getting confused (which happens too easily for my liking) it was a 4 month waiting list to send the passport off to update her name. We needed the CfO before we could do that.
